Kasim Kamenica: Satisfied if we play like last year

Borac-Lovcen

Montenegro champion Lovcen Cetinje enter in his new season as member of SEHA league. With almost new squad, and coach, team hopes to repeat successes from last season. To be "hard rival" especially at home.

Lovcen played two friendly games against Gorazdze, and both won (26-24 and 30-29), and took third place in the tournament at Blace, Serbia (won against Zeleznicar 35-29)
New coach Kasim Kamenica will be biggest reinforcement for Lovcen

After several years in Nexe, now have a new challenge, Lovcen. Why did you decide to leave Croatia, and what is ambition in Lovcen?
I spent five very successful seasons in Nexe, and I think together with the players and club president made many. There was a financial crisis and it became difficult to keep the team on high motivation to work. Departure was inevitable even I had a contract for two more seasons. After failed negotiations about taking one national team suddenly appeared Lovcen and so there was a bit of an unexpected collaboration. Lovcen ambitions are still high, priorities are winning the double crown of Montenegro, successful performances at SEHA League, EHF Cup and producing players for the national team.

* What do you need to have "team for your taste?"
In this moment we lack an experienced goalkeeper (although the current very young and talented), high pivot and another right back player.

* Compared to last season, now Lovcen maybe is a weaker. Do you think team can be just as "tough" as one of the last season of SEHA League?
The team has changed a lot, especially in the outside line (back position) and it takes time and patience to create a good and homogeneous team

* You are following the development of SEHA League from the start. Is this league can realy to become one of strongest in Europe?
SEHA is a good league, and above all a great idea. If we like to be strongest, we need whole region get more financial strengthens, and to join two Hungarian or Slovenian clubs.

* What are the advantages of the League compared to the national championships, and how this league reflecting the development of the players?
The advantages are the quality of the League matches, the regularity of which is not every time same in national leagues, thus creating a favorable environment for the creation of quality players and strengthen the national teams in the Region

* Where could be Lovcen this season in final ranking?
If we play on same level like last season will be more than pleased, consider many players changes in team squad

* Main favorite for SEHA title this season?
Vardar Skopje currently has very good team
