Goluza: "In the end we were a bit lucky, good luck to Zagreb at the Final 4"

Slavko Goluza

PPD Zagreb - Tatran Presov 28:29 (16:15)

(Ravnic 5, Buric 3, Jotic 3, Vekic 3, Potocnik 3 / Butorac 9, Lapajne 4, Rabek 4)

Branko Tamse, PPD Zagreb coach:
Good thing is we were able to give all of our players a chance to play and see what they’re capable of at the moment. It’s a pity Hrstic didn’t score from our last attack, a draw would maybe be the most realistic outcome but in the end we have what we have. By that, I assure you we’ll do everything we can to deliver two of the best possible outings in Brest and see what it brings us in the end.

Slavko Goluza, Tatran Presov coach:
I wish Zagreb all the best on the final tournament. Speaking of the match, it was visible we're both exhausted and tired since we're dealing with tough schedule lately. I also have to add we were a bit lucky in the end, I have to be honest and highlight that because Hrstic was on two occasions in the end only a few centimeters away from scoring.

Lovro Jotic, PPD Zagreb player:
Congrats to Tatran on this win here today. We’re also turning to our Croatian Championship matches and of course, I hope we’ll deliver two solid outings on the final tournament and see what it eventually gets us.

Bruno Butorac, Tatran Presov player:
I’m obviously happy we won in the end. I agree with our coach we were a bit luckier in the end. Despite of that, I wish Zagreb all the best in the future.
