EHF Team Week preview: seven SEHA countries in action

The end of each season is always reserved for national teams. So, some of SEHA countries and players will conclude the 2018/19 season with the EHF Team Week during the qualification period for the EURO 2020 which will be held in Austria, Norway and Sweden. 

Seven SEHA countries will be in action. Team Croatia have a lot of SEHA - Gazprom League players from PPD Zagreb and Nexe. “Lions“ who are on the Lino Cervar's list are Valentino Ravnic, Josip Bozic Pavletic, David Mandic, Matej Hrstic, Luka Mrakovcic and Ivan Srsen. There are also Moreno Car, Ivan Vida, Marin Sipic, Halil Jaganjac and Ante Gadza from Nexe. Croatia will play against Switzerland on Wednesday, 12th of June and will host Belgium on Sunday, 16th of June.

Serbia will play two matches, the first one is against Belgium, on Wednesday, 12th of June, while the second one is on Sunday, 16th of June against Switzerland. SEHA players in Serbian team are Stefan Vujic from Steaua Bucuresti, Milos Grozdanic, Jovica Nikolic, Nemanja Ratkovic, Stefan Ilic and Strahinja Stankovic from Vojvodina, Stevan Sretenovic, Nemanja Zivkovic and Nemanja Milovanovic from Zeleznicar 1949 and the European champion, Vardar's Dejan Milosavljev.

North Macedonia will face Turkey and Greece in the matches  on 12th and 16th of June. Metalurg players who will represent their country are: Martin Tomovski, Martin Serafimov, Mario Tankoski, Tomislav Jagurinovski, Dimitar Dimitrioski, Bojan Madjovski and Filip Arsenovski. Vardar's captain Stojanche Stoilov will also be in action. In the same group, Can Celebi from Nexe will represent the Turkish national team in matches against North Macedonia and Iceland.

Belarus will be represented by Meshkov Brest players Andrei Yurinok, Maxim Baranau, Artsiom Kulak and Ivan Matskevich. Their first encounter is against the other SEHA country, Bosnia and Herzegovina, while the second one is against Finland. Matches are scheduled for Wednesday, 12th of June and Sunday, 16th of June. Bosnia and Herzegovina will play their second match against Cazech Republic in which team are Tatran Presov's Jakub Hrstka and Tomas Cip and Meshkov's Pavel Horak . 

Slovakia will play two matches against Hungary and Russia. In Russian team, there are five players from Vardar: Timur Dibirov, Daniel Shishkarev, Gleb Kalarash, Sergey Gorbok and Dmitry Kiselev.

Romania will face off versus Portugal on Thursday, 14th of June and France, on Sunday, 16th of June. PPD Zagreb's players Aleks Vlah and Urh Kastelic and Metalurg's Aleksander Spende will play for Slovenia against Latvia and Estonia.
