RK Metaloplastika Sabac parted ways with their head-coach and club’s legend Veselin Vukovic.

“We had a mutual agreement with Veselin Vukovic. One of the biggest reasons for such a decision is the health status of our coach. His job, until the decision about new coach, will be overtaken by his assistant Miodrag Kazic. Unfortunately, this situation came in the finish of the season, with three matches ahead of us. Veselin Vukovic is a part of the club and this breakup is only current, as he will always be an inevitable part of Metaloplastika.  As we have always been able to count on his help in the past, so we will hopefully be able to count on his experience in the future, because Metaloplastika is a club for all of us, both people who are currently in the club and those who were once part of it. But first and foremost, it’s for all of the people of Sabac. The club wishes him all the best, first healthwise, but also businesswise. Veselin has always been a part of the team and will remain as such in the future, because Metaloplastika has always been and will always be his sports family ", is written in Metaloplastika’s statement.

RK Metaloplastika Sabac have a very important last Round match in domestic ARKUS League. They are fighting with RK Partizan Beograd for the second place at the end of the season. But for that to happen Babic, Mitrovic and the rest of Metaloplastika team should win in Novi Sad against new-old champions RK Vojvodina, while Dubocica need to surprise Partizan in Leskovac.

In a situation where both teams have equal number of points, Partizan will be second and Metaloplastika third in the end.
