EHFCL: Five SEHA clubs in season 2021/2022

The EHF Executive Committee announced the final list of clubs who will participate in EHF Champions League season 2021/2022 today. Amongst 16 teams, there will be five SEHA – Gazprom League clubs who will once again, show their skills on European handball courts.
PPD Zagreb, Vardar 1961, Meshkov Brest, Telekom Veszprem and Motor Zaporozhye will compete in the 29th edition of the EHF Champions League. Although Vardar 1961 is on the final list, their situation and final confirmation of the participation is yet to be confirmed.
 
The playing system will be the same as in the last season, which means there will be 16 teams in total, divided in two groups of eight teams. Playing days for EHF Champions League Men will also be Wednesdays and Thursdays, while the first round starts on September 15th and September 16th.
 
Official draw for the Group Phase will be held on Friday, July 2nd at 11:00 CET in Vienna and will be streamed live on EHFTVHome of Handball YouTube channel as well as the Facebook page.
