Eurofarm looking for revenge against Vojvodina in Bitola

Eurofarm Pelister vs Vojvodina

After their big 29:24 win over Eurofarm Pelister in Novi Sad, Vojvodina will travel to Bitola to play the away match against the Macedonian team. Reigning Serbian champions are looking really good in this new SEHA - Gazprom League season, and they proved it by defeating both Nexe and Eurofarm Pelister at home. At the moment, coach Rojevic and his guys are sitting on top of group A with matches in Bitola and Nasice still ahead of them.

After an unfortunate loss to Motor Zaporozhye in the final round of the EHF European League group stage on Tuesday evening in Bitola, coach Lars Walther and his guys will certainly have just an additional motive to prove what they are really capable of and take revenge against Vojvodina on home court. It’s left to see whether Vojvodina will manage to extend the winning streak playing away from home, or will Eurofarm Pelister find a way to slow the Serbian champions down and rejoin the race for the top spot in group A. The match is scheduled for Thursday, 18.00 CET.

Lars Walther, Eurofarm Pelister coach:
The match against Vojvodina is a new start for us. Probably they will play with a combined and young team and we don’t have the information and time to prepare. But I hope that my players will make have a good reaction after the European eliminations and will win our first match in this SEHA - Gazprom League season.

Zarko Peshevski, Eurofarm Pelister player:
Vojvodina is a good team, made up of experienced domestic handball players. This match comes at a bad time, but it can be good for us because this can be a new beginning for us. A wake-up call in which we will raise ourselves and notice a favourable result, not only in that match but also in our next match.

Boris Rojevic, Vojvodina coach:
Considering the packed schedule we’re dealing with, we’ll travel to Bitola with a rejuvenated roster. I feel like Eurofarm has a favorite role in this one, despite the fact we’ve managed to surprise them at home. It’s hard to predict anything now, but I guarantee you that my players will give their absolute best in North Macedonia.

Luka Rogan, Vojvodina player:
Match in Bitola will be just another opportunity for our younger players to prove what they are capable of. As the coach said, we’ll travel to North Macedonia with a rejuvenated roster, but I don’t think that diminishes our chances of reaching a good result in the end. The schedule we’re dealing with at the moment is really packed but I have zero doubt that we’re all up to a great match in North Macedonia.
