Positive thing was defense in the first half which resulted with whole lot of easy goals. Let's be honest, we've decided this one in the first half. They were better in the beginning of the second but we've in the end managed to bring the match to a good end for us which should serve as a self-confidence booster ahead of upcoming challenges.

Hrvoje Horvat, Nexe coach:
I believe the only way to go from this point is upwards. In the first half we've demonstrated too much respect for both SEHA League and PPD Zagreb which was able to take advantage of it and open the gap early. We have a lot to work on that's for sure.

Mario Vuglac, PPD Zagreb player:
I believe we've played a really good match, especially in the first half with defense surely being our stronger side in that part of the match and the result were, as coach already said, multiple easy goals which decided the clash. We've allowed them to score simply too much goals in the first half. In the second half we've proved we can play well against them but they are a too good team and of course it was mission impossible to close the gap from that moment on. I'd like to congratulate them of course.
