Vojvodina’s defense was once again on a different level in the second half led by goalie Luka Arsenic who grabbed a few very important saves. Key goal was a little less than a minute and a half before the final whistle scored by Milos Grozdanic. League’s top scorer from last season netted his fifth for a two-goal advantage (25:23) and there was simply no time for guests to turn things around.

Metaloplastika’s coach Veselin Vukovic was hoping for a miracle calling a time-out but his guys committed a turnover in the next attack basically sealing the deal on the decision who gets through towards quarter-final matchup against Hungarians.

Grozdanic and Milic led their respective teams offensively in this one scoring five goals each.
